The man is sitting in front of you, his hair a wave of thick gray locks and his expression akin to one who didn’t sleep enough; yet his pale gray eyes betray something – a hint of wisdom? The smell of alcohol on his breath and the cigarette he regularly brings to his lips may make you rethink that. He's well-dressed, however, and his groomed short boxed beard and clean appearance only makes a first impression somewhat confusing.A piece of blue dyed leather - that seems to double as a pouch when tied - is set in front of him, on which rest a pile of wooden runes. You also notice a pale rat perched on his left shoulder, just chillin' there..

I use a set of hand-carved wooden runes and, as is customary with such runes, none but the owner is allowed to touch them. Thus you won’t have to ‘pick a rune’ to determine the outcome, as Fakhri will pick the rune(s) for you; the number of runes will depend on the question and the spread he’ll choose to answer it.An important note, oracle is not meant to answer direct questions (When will I die, when will I meet my true love, will I win the lottery). Instead, it offers guidance by helping you gain a better sense of self. It's basically a call for introspection, showing you a path - maybe one you purposely tried to avoid or one you simply couldn't see - yet you are the only one who can choose to take that path.
In essence, it offers clarity.Things to keep in mind
- I’m not a professional oracle reader and just do this for RP fun. And, since I use a real set of runes and not a roll system, answers will take longer to come. Please be patient with me.- Fakhri is an empath and has a REAL gift of prescience (he can see both past and future) and I welcome anyone to ‘use’ him if you want/need his reading to be eerily accurate. Just whisper me the info he’ll need to relay in his reading.- While Fakhri’s gift is real, it’s also finicky. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. He obviously won’t tell you and, as a professional con artist, he’ll say whatever bullshit comes to his mind with utmost credibility. You can use this however you see fit, make his reading become real - or not - in any future RP you have with others.- Last but not least, Fakhri cuss a lot, he smokes and he drinks heavily. He can also be quite blunt.
